Frameless glass door considerations

The glass door is often installed after I am gone.  But it is planned for early on.

We decided where it would go.  And then we installed blocking.  They are heavy.  So you want to make sure that they are well supported.

This one has a minimal design impact.  But you still get to pick the finishes for the handle and hinges.

You can use these doors to make more of a design statement if you want.

This was before the blocking was installed for the door.

Notice that we made the tub deck top flat and level.  And the part that goes into the shower (leg shaving bench) is sloped into the shower.  So we had the glass sit on the level part until it turned to the right.

This is why the glass door people measure after the tile is completely done.

These doors are measured and manufactured to fit.
